Drinks
Sutton has held tight on the wagon of food intake by mouth since early October and he has had consistent weight gain. This means he meets the food requirement (per our pediatric surgeon) for having his g button removed. There is no way to describe our level of excitement that he just took to this eating by mouth thing again!
We have still had trouble meeting fluid requirements, though. He takes a little and then backslides. Round and round we go. Yesterday, for the first time, he took 100% of his fluids by mouth!!!! And he is chugging them today, too. We are praying, and ask that you do too, that this will begin his final leg of being able to remove his button.
