Cedar creek
Sutton has been doing horse back riding therapy at Cedar Creek here in Columbia. Their horses work specifically as therapy horses.
Micah, one of our most treasured babysitters, has worked out there for years, so all the kids were very excited to see her on Sutton's first day (a few months ago) and Cohen even got a special tour to meet some of the horses! All the kids have really enjoyed their time on the trails and meeting new friends.
This therapy helps with Sutton's core stability/strength as he is lacking in his development of this area. Cedar Creek is complete for this session, but will start up again in the spring. In the meantime, Sutton will be working with a physical therapist.

Preschool picture
Sutton has been attending a speech therapy preschool once a week to work on his swallowing skills with his speech therapist and the added pressure of his peers. It has helped him to work at advancing his ability to swallow. Since this is the first time any of our kids have been in preschool, I have to share the obligatory school picture!
Field trip
Cohen went on a field trip with some of our homeschooled friends from MOPS. We visited KOMU and got some of our burning meteorology questions (like "is thunder scary?" 😉) answered!
